Can I connect componet cable to my monitor?

If your monitor supports it natively after you can easily do this. If it doesn't (and most do not) you will involve an adapter such as http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/kd-va... which is quite expensive. There may be cheaper alternative though. I would do a froogle (www.froogle.com) turn upside down for VGA component adapter or something similar.
