can i run 3 displays from my radeon 9800 pro?

I enjoy this video card running to monitors through the vga and dvi ports and would like to give a tv from its svid port. I am able to swap it out for one of the monitors but not run adjectives 3. I don't mind if the tv is just a clone of one of the other 2. in reality that would be preferrable, but i've not been competent to make it work. is anyone else doing this perchance? is it possible at adjectives?

Answer:

nope, can't

the s-video port is a TV port, not a PC port;

only Video programs will dispatch data to that port, so that it displays on a TV, as resourcefully;

this port does not offer the resolution and strengthen rates of a VGA or DVI port; nor does it support display of windows or mouse cursors aso.

what you possibly are thinking of is some newer television which also have a DVI port, which can be connected to a DVI port of your 9800 card. but after, you simply have a general screen and that may still be connected to a cable and show TV (or video from a cassette or dvdplayer).
Right click on your desktop, Go to Properties , Go to Settings , you will see Monitor boxes Labled 1,2,3 or such and you will right click and press Attach if the monitor is not attached the screen will stay black and not display also you must adaptation your TV to the correct VIDEO example: video 1, video 2 , video 3 if it's not on the correct option it will stay black on it from near you will be able to control resolution and other features.
Check the settings man, it does work within most cases. My Nvidia 6600 works well near all 3. I'v see radeons doing the same pretty all right.
