I own a 16 inch computer monitor that i want to use as a tv. Is there any track i can do it? Any special cables i entail? Is it even possible? Thanks

You will need a TV tuner card and a signal input.
I discern this would cost the same or more than a small peak TV.
Ask at your local computer supply store. You should have said what brand computer you enjoy, some will not accept a TV card.
You can use a TV Tuner card within your Computer to watch TV on your monitor while connected. Other than that, your Monitor doesn't own a built in tuner, so you wouldn't know how to tune to any channels.
