I'm want to buy an NEC Multisync LCD1565 but not sure if it will work on my G4 near OS9.
Answer:
According to NEC, this model monitor has one input (VGA) your MAC expected has a DVI port on it. You can use this monitor near a VGA/DVI converter. You'll know if you have a DVI port because the connector will be white on the MAC, a VGA connector is blue.
yeah you a short time ago might have to bring an adapter.
YES!!! worse case, you might necessitate to get an adapter. but thats single like 20 dollars.
If you own a G4 with OS9, I'm assuming it have a VGA port. Most LCDs have DVI outputs, some enjoy VGA or both. You may need an adapter. They are cheap and graceful to install. I think I even enjoy one just lay around. By the way, you should really upgrade to OS X Tiger. I can't believe you're still using OS9.
All G4's come with the PC standard VGA connector.
You can use any standard PC monitor.
