Hp L1506
Answer:
The single way to really fix to be exact to exercise your warranty/consumer rights. If it's not acceptable most retailers will transport you a replacement. If they have a dead-pixel policy that say one is ok, there's not much you can do from a technical perspective. The circuits are only too small and delicate to work near.
The only item that can fix your problem is to get another monitor whether it be purchasing a untried one or getting it covered under warranty. This problem can be fixed but it is massively time consuming to fix and you would more than pay for a unusual monitor by the time you got through paying a technician to fix this problem.
At times if u push down on the pixel it wake it up.
A dead pixel is a motionless transistor.

NO once dead its insensible -if you use a different background color afterwards it will become less conspicuous or even disappear until you go rear to the color where it shows up
