Can flat eyeshade monitors be repaired for a sound cost?

I hold tossed 2 flat screen monitors that be less than 2 years outmoded. The problem is that they stopped powering up. There is a green light on the adapter that connects to the monitor which stopped lighting up. I be thinking maybe the power cable box go bad and can be replaced near a new cable. If the cable is markedly expensive as some laptop power cables are, it might not be worth replacing as you can purchase a investigational flat screen for something like $100 - $150. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

Answer:

Most of us computer techs toss the monitors for indistinguishable reasons, New ones are so in-expensive, plus, the contrast and resolution own doubled in two years...

The 'bricks' run $60 to $100!!!
perchance you can if you bring it to a computer repair shop or some t.v. repair shops but i think you should in recent times throw it away
If you can replace the TV. for as little as you say, believe me it will be cheaper to do so.
nope replace the power box and cable
