If you step to PC World or a computer store they will sell you a product which is especially designed for cleaning screen. Don't attempt to do it with any other products as they may destroy your screen or put tiny scratch on it. The product you need is close to cotton wool swabs which is impregnated beside the cleaning solution, this is guaranteed not to do any damage to your eyeshade and have it sparkling resembling new. you can use anything to verbs it as long as it is not a detergent or an alcohol based product
I in actual fact use Isopropanol on mine, works a treat!
Clean it with drizzly cloth.
I find that camera lens cleaners are good,



Or if the peak is really dirty try spectacle wipes available from boots etc. these are resembling wet wipe for glasses.



Take a wipe and sympathetically squeeze any excess cleaning fluid out so that it is just waterlogged.



Then gently rub the eyeshade taking care not to apply to much pressure as you could disfavour it.

Wipe the blind outwards using dry cloth (with little shampoo)
I've tried a number of ways but the most powerful is to use a damp cloth to moisten the blind then wipe beside a piece of soft chamois leather. This will remove all smears.
Paper towel and a bit glass cleaner sprayed on it. You don't want to draw from your screen too drizzling. Normal rubbing shouldn't damage it but too enthusiastic pressure could damage it.
